Ilana Pilcz, Psychotherapist

LMHC-D, LPC, MA

Therapy with me is rooted in connection - to self, to others, and within the therapeutic relationship itself. I believe healing happens in the space between client and therapist, when you feel safe enough to truly be authentic. Sessions feel like a real conversation: curious, grounded, and collaborative, where humor sits beside sadness and lightness lives alongside depth. There are no silent nods or detached "mmmhmm"s here, just two humans slowing down and exploring what's been shaping your inner and relational world.

Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment theory, and somatic mindfulness (plus the Gottman Method with couples), I help clients cultivate inner safety and self-trust, making vulnerability feel more possible and connection more secure, honest, and alive. I'm especially drawn to helping people understand and gently unburden the parts of themselves that have been working hard to protect them: the ones that might show up as high achievement, competence, or caretaking. Clients often describe feeling both deeply held and gently challenged in ways that foster real, lasting growth.

Whether I'm working with individuals or couples, I offer a therapeutic space that feels deeply human - one where you can reconnect with yourself, strengthen your relationships, and explore the messy, meaningful work of being human with support, humor, and care.
